Welcome!

San Marcos has over 70 Girl Scout troops involved in a wide range of activities from community service to camping. This site is designed to be used by our troop leaders as an ongoing resource, and by parents when they are interested in becoming leaders or getting their daughers into Girl Scouts.

San Marcos Girl Scouts are currently the keepers of The Spirit Stick, awarded to the service unit that shows the most team spirit at the annual Leading the Way conference. Go team! You can see The Stick's appearance schedule here.

Events

Beach Encampment - The amazing race is on! Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors will camp at on the beach. Note: The date and location have changed for this encampment, see the Beach Encampment page for details.

SongFest - Join us for an evening of Girl Scout songs. This event is organized by older girls, for girls and adults of all ages. Each troop gets a songbook and CD to take home, and each girl gets a custom event patch.

Haunted Hills Encampment - Cabin decorating, trick-or-treat, a costume party, it's all part of this encampment! We'll also have several troop-led Halloween activities and we'll celebrate Juliette Low's birthday.

And many more! - We already have a pretty complete list of events for the year. Planning hasn't started yet but we do have dates so that you can put them on your calendar.

Product Sales - The dates we have so far are listed on our Product Sales page.
